Day 1

Arade River

Walked 12,8 kilometers to explore my new city, and I loved it!!!

Still waiting for my bus pass, I decided to explore the city by foot.

Even in Portimao isn't that big I still feel it in my legs.

The pain was so worth it though, the views I saw were just breathtaking.

I started my journey at the hospital walked to the Arade River, stopped multiple times to take pictures and continued south to the beaches of Portimao.

Arrived at the beach I thought I would stay and lay on the sand of Praia da Rocha (the most popular beach of the city).

But soon enough I realized that there was no way for me to just stay here, I needed to explore this amazing beach.

I walked until I arrived at a huge stone wall so I tough here is the end of my journey, hell boy I was wrong!!!

I found a little gate way in the stone and arrived on an even more beautiful beach!!! I felt like in another world!!

I continued walking and walking and walking, the beach would just not stop.

Each step I took was just wonderful but the end of the beach was coming soon. Would there be another gateway to the next beach?

There was one but it ment getting in the water, but with my jeans it would be too messy.

I took the first stairs to get of the beach thinking I was going to go home, but those stairs took me to a path along the cliffs.

What a beautiful path, but where is it going.

Being hungry (and maybe a little lost) I decided to go back to Praia da Rocha and come back to this beautiful path the next day.

Day 2

Praia do Alemão

Yesterday was so beautiful I had to continue my journey.

I started my walk at Estrada do Vau where I had left yesterday.

From there I walked over 8km along the beautiful red cliffs. I Passed some of the most beautiful "secret beaches" I had ever seen.

I don't even have words to describe all the beautiful things I had seen!

Water so blue, warm sand, and the sound of the waves; just the most beautiful combination on earth.
